Grapes: Zibibbo.
Growing area: Marsala, along the Tirrenic coast.
Typology of terrain: Mainly sandy soil of medium consistency.
Vinification: The first harvest begins in early August and the natural withering in the sun of these grapes lasts about 15 days. The second harvest begins at the end on August. Soft pressing of the fresh grapes and fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures. Destemmed by hand the dried grapes are added to the must during the fermentation releasing sweetness and aromatic intensity. Sugar content is 120 gr/l.
Refinement: 5 months in vats and 4 months in bottles.
Alcohol content: 12,5% by vol.
Serving temperature: 14-16°C.
Preservation: Store bottles horizontally at fresh temperatures and protected from the light.
Colour: Golden yellow.
Bouquet: Elegant with notes of candied orange zest and Mediterranean herbs like sage and rosemary.
Flavour: Sweet and velvety. An harmonic mix of sweetness and freshness.
How to drink: Dessert with ricotta o chocolate. Excellent with soft cheese.
