In Mothia island can be admired some rare mosaics in cobbels with mythological figures.


Technical Data

Classification: Nero d’Avola Denominazione di Origine Controllata Sicilia.
Grapes: Nero d’Avola.
Growing area: Western Sicily.
Tipology of terrain : Mainly clayey soil of medium consistency.
Vinification: Fermentation at controlled temperature (20/22°C. degrees) with maceration for 8/12 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation is followed by batonage (once a week) as long as it is of great benefit to the wine.
Refinement: For about 3/4 months in stainless-steel vats and 3 months in bottle.

Alcohol content: 14 % by vol.
Serving temperature: 12°-14°C.
Preservation: Store bottles horizontally at fresh temperatures and protected from the light.
Colour: Deep ruby red.
Bouquet: Intense and rich in cherry and blackberry notes.
Flavour: Well-balanced with a pleasant aftertaste.
